"I am currently in Whittlesea Victoria assisting the branch with customers that are experiencing hardship due to the bushfires. A customer came in today directed by her broker. Her Broker John Roussis wanted to ensure that she received the full assistance the bank was offering to someone in her position.

In discussing her circumstances, she advised that her broker had been great not only when setting up the loan some eight months ago but now during the bushfires. She said, her broker heard the news and drove to Whittlesea after the fires as she had not checked in. John her broker wanted to ensure the customer was safe. John has contacted the hardship line and arranged all assistance required as well as keeping the customer informed. I did ask if John is a friend and the customer advised no he is just my broker.

In times like this, so many people do pull together to assist but John seems to have gone that extra mile helping out his customer and certainly making my life easier."
